STUDENT SUPPORT

Peer Tutoring
We understand that some students may learn the best from another student. If you are interested in a peer tutor please contact our student engagement team ACNZStudentSupport@acnz.ac.nz.
Mā te tuakana ka tōtika te teina, mā te teina ka tōtika te tuakana.
From the older sibling, the younger one learns the right way to do things, from the younger sibling, the older sibling learns how to be tolerant.

Stakeholder Feedback
We’re always seeking Stakeholder Feedback on ways to improve our service. The Student Support Centre conducts feedback surveys to determine the success of our programs and find areas to improve. ACNZ also participates in a range of surveys, meetings and evaluations to capture student and stakeholder voice.

Pasifika Student Support
At Alphacrucis College, we support Pasifika students with services that respect and embrace cultural identity. Our Learning Hubs provide academic and spiritual support in a culturally responsive environment. We empower you to succeed in your studies and ministry, while celebrating your heritage. We're here to help you thrive academically and personally.

Academic Integrity
Integrity is a core value at ACNZ. Responsibility, transparency and accountability in academic writing are vital keys to your success. We offer a range of study skills that will help build your confidence and promote a community of trust. The Academic Integrity and Misconduct Policy provides clear definitions and expectations, and outlines processes to be undertaken in the event of academic misconduct.

Complaints and Grievances
Each Course of Study Handbook and ACNZ Student Handbook provides information regarding the Complaint and Grievance Resolution Policy and where to access guidelines. ACNZ ensures the protection of privacy and the reputation of all parties involved in addressing complaints, grievances and appeals.

Alumni
Since 1986, graduates from Alphacrucis College have been making a difference in the lives of the people around them, and significantly impacting their world for good. To be an Alphacrucis Alumnus is to be part of a group of leaders around the world who are transforming nations and neighbourhoods!
We want to invite you to join our Alumni community where we help ACNZ Alumni and friends stay in touch or reconnect through our regular email newsletters, social media platforms and events. We aim to:
provide opportunities for you to catch up with former classmates, lecturers or colleagues across the ACNZ community
inspire and encourage you by sharing Alumni stories which celebrate the success of people doing great things in their field
enable you to continue learning, with free access to our physical library collections, and with invitations to our online webinars and special masterclasses.

Diversity and Equity
ACNZ is committed to providing an environment for staff and students/candidates that is free from discrimination based on income, age, disability, social and ethnic background, location or gender. Employment at the College is based on merit, defined as a combination of demonstrated academic or administrative ability in a specified area, demonstrated sympathy with the aims and objectives of ACNZ, and ‘fit ’with regard to the demands of the College’s teams and projects.
