

Application Process and Admission Procedures for International Students

Admission and Enrolment Steps for International Students:​

STEP 1
Start your application by completing the Online Enrolment Form.
Alternatively, you can contact our Student Enquires Office on +64 9 580 1500(ext.2) or admissions@acnz.ac.nz to request application forms and information about the program you are interested in.

STEP 2
You need to send back:

Application Form completed and signed

Certified copies of any relevant academic transcripts

Certified copies of your Birth Certificate or Passport
-
IELTS test results (if required)
-
$200 Application Fee (and any late fees if required)
STEP 3
We will send you a confirmation of your application, a receipt and an Offer of Place. You will need to provide this to Immigration with your Student Visa application directly to the nearest local NZ Immigration branch in your country. We will also send other necessary documents to finalize the admissions process.

STEP 4
Once you receive your Approval in Principle from Immigration, you will then need to pay your fees to Alphacrucis.
STEP 5
We will confirm once everything is in order and send you your Confirmation of Place for NZ Immigration to process your Student Visa application. We will also send out course information, timetables and other relevant details before you come to NZ.

Visa Information
All international students must have a valid student visa to study in New Zealand. To be eligible, students must meet Immigration New Zealand (INZ) requirements, including:

Enrolment in an approved course with an education provider

Proof of sufficient funds to live and study in New Zealand

Proof of acceptable insurance coverage
VisaView System:
Education providers in New Zealand use VisaView, an online system provided by INZ, to verify the visa status of international students. Visa Conditions:
When you are issued a student visa, there are important conditions you must follow. These may include:

Studying full-time in the programme listed on your visa

Attending classes regularly and making satisfactory academic progress

Holding valid insurance for the duration of your stay

Not working more than the hours permitted (usually up to 20 hours per week during the semester)
Visa Expiry & Travel:
You must leave New Zealand before your visa expires, unless you have been granted another visa. If you leave New Zealand during your study period, ensure your visa and passport remain valid for re-entry.
